The Glock 39 (G39 Subcompact) is a Glock 17 pistol modified to fire 9mm ammunition. It was introduced in 1995 as an alternative to the Glock 22 for shooters who wanted more controllable recoil, and it was designed specifically for shooting smaller framed individuals. The Glock has many admirable qualities, but what really sets it apart from other handguns is its reliability.
