The Glock 39 (G39 Subcompact .45 G.A.P.) is a Glock 17 pistol modified to fire 9mm ammunition. It was introduced in 1995 as an alternative to the Glock 22 for shooters who wanted more controllable recoil, and it was designed specifically for shooting smaller framed individuals. The Glock 39 specs have many admirable qualities, but its reliability differentiates it from other handguns.

Glock is a brand of polymer-framed, short recoil-operated, locked-breech semi-automatic pistols designed and produced by Austrian manufacturer Glock Ges.m.b.H and G39 Glock. The firearm entered the Austrian military and police service by 1982, after it was the top performer in reliability and safety tests.

The Glock G39 combines accuracy and power with a tiny, concealable size. It consistently pulls the trigger from the first to the last round, thanks to Glock’s Safe Action technology. The pistol’s fire control system incorporates the three mechanical safeties that operate automatically and independently. When the trigger is pushed, each of the three safeties disengages in turn, and when the trigger is released, they all automatically reengage. The polymer frame has steel guides that have been hardened. It is lightweight and has the perfect grip angle. The shooting hand can easily operate the magazine catch and the slide stop lever.

Even when used in salt water, the slide’s sophisticated surface treatment produces ideal hardness by significantly lowering wear and tear and increasing corrosion resistance. The matte surface reduces the amount of light reflection. The Glock 39 45 gap barrel is cold-hammer forged and mechanically locked. It shares the slide’s sophisticated surface treatment. Per some state legislation, the extractor functions as a loaded chamber indicator, and its location may physically and visually indicate whether a cartridge is in the pistol’s chamber.
