What is Kimber K6s Dasa?

The company calls the Kimber K6s DASA the “next evolution” of its revolvers. If you’re familiar with the original K6s, you know they’re double-action. The K6s feature a well-laid-out Kimber America double-action option while adding the ability to fire a single-action weapon. It is a win-win situation.

The Kimber 357 price was offered in various configurations, but all were blunt-nosed, internal hammer, double-action pistols designed for concealment. That changed in 2019 when Kimber introduced DASA, a traditional double-action/single-action revolver with barrels up to four inches. Although less confidential, the K6s DASA family is much more capable.

Kimber K6S for sale manufactures one revolver model, the K6S, in either Double Action/Single Action or Double Action Only configuration. It is chambered in .357 Magnum/.38 Special and has a capacity of six rounds. It is available in 2″ inch, 3″ inch, and 4″ inch barrels.

    Love the fit of my P320 X Five Legion in the Contender. The turbo prop is a nice feature. Gives you the ability to adjust the ability of release of the gun on the fly without having to take the holster off. The X-Lock gives you the ability to fit a wide range of belt sizes. Love it.

    I expected to get a used none perfect firearm but was not happy about the bad hand engraved marking under the cylinder joint , it was not mentioned nor showed in the photos , I was very displeased with that , it should’ve been honestly mentioned and shown

    Very solid, simple pistol. Machine quality and fit are excellent. Easy loading and extracting of spent shells, smooth trigger pull, comfortable grip. Large hands will find the grip a tad short.

    I recently bought 4 police trades, one was in excellent condition as advertised, two s&w revolvers were in reasonable good condition but not near very good as advertised and the 65-5 wasn’t even close to very good, I couldn’t put enough lipstick on this pig to make it poor.

    This is no doubt this best gun you can get at this price range, can’t see any significant difference in this gun and the Glock version that’s closest to it . Someone prove me wrong!!

    Well, I ordered a 65-5, but received a 65-6. That is the only reason I am giving an ‘OK’ grade instead of ‘Great”. I am going to keep the one I got because is in excellent shape and has an amazing SA trigger. DA trigger is smooth, but a touch heavier than I like. It has departmental stamps on it that seem to point it to a Department of CorrectionsRead more about review stating Shipped the wrong gun- but I like it! in a northeastern state.

    Just a note, this review is before shooting the gun. My FFL said it looked good when I called him, and I was not dissapointed. Gun was clean and looked like it was polished. Trigger was smooth in DA, and crisp in SA. A little play in the cylinder, but its used. I’m very pleased and would buy again from Guns.com. I’ll shoot it soon and update.
