The famous Tay 0150 1875 Army Outlaw 357 7.5 revolver and company replica .38 Special with 5-1/2\” barrel. This pistol reproduces the first cap and ball revolver, so the cap and ball pieces are cut from the barrel, a conversion ring is installed, and a cartridge is inserted into the barrel. These were called conversion pistols and were the beginning of the modern cartridge revolver.

Taylors & Co. has reproduced the 1875 Army Outlaw chambered in .357 magnum. In 1875 Army Outlaw Nickel finish a detailed copy of the 1875 Single Action Remington captures the rigid frame and general styling of Remington’s 1858 issue models. Glock Center, this revolver has a 7-1/2″ barrel, steel backstrap, and two pieces of walnut grips. This model has a frame cast, cemented, and finished in blood. Weighing 2.8 pounds, rated at 6 rounds, and featuring a blade front sight, it soon became one of the most popular pistols.

1875 Army Outlaw For Sale

The 1875 Army Outlaw Uberti, chambered in.357 Magnum, has been reproduced by Taylors and Company. The robust frame and general design of Remington’s 1858 percussion models were retained in this meticulous recreation of the 1875 Remington single-actions. This revolver features a two-piece walnut handle, a steel rear strap, and a 7-1/2″ barrel. This model features a blued finish and a cast, case-hardened frame. With its 2.8-pound weight, 6-round chamber, and blade front sight, it quickly became one of its era’s most widely used handguns.
